• 1965- Baxter Finley couldn’t find any skin care products for men, so he developed his own. Super Shape is introduced to the world.
• 1970s- As the interest in men’s grooming rises, Baxter of California responds by rolling out products in the skincare, hair care and shaving segments.
• 2000- Baxter of California helps kick off the rebirth of hair pomades with the launch of its award-winning, top-selling Clay Pomade. Also released around this time is a distinctive line of candles to cement Baxter of California’s rise as a premier men’s lifestyle brand.
• 2005- Entering its 40th year, Baxter of California continues as a leader and visionary in the global marketplace for men’s grooming products by strategically partnering with key retailers and collaborating with modern men’s lifestyle boutiques.
• 2010- Baxter Finley Barber & Shop opened in La Cienega in West Hollywood, devoted to providing services tailored specially to men’s hair and skin.
• 2012-  Best-selling, aluminum free Deodorant launched and became a game-changer.
